how it works
Programs:
SCBA’s fundraising efforts directly support youth-focused programs that address educational, social, and economic needs in the South Coast.
- We provide scholarships and fund after-school programs that open doors for young people to develop their skills and explore new opportunities.
- Our two signature events — NB Oktoberfest and the Annual SCBA Golf Tournament — raise funds that go directly toward youth-focused programs and services.
- SCBA works to break down barriers to access by providing funding for transportation, program supplies, and other key resources.
- By collaborating with local organizations, SCBA ensures that the programs we fund are comprehensive, impactful, and tailored to the specific needs of the South Coast community.

Partners:
At the core of SCBA’s impact is a strong network of partners and collaborators.
- We work with schools, nonprofits, businesses, and local leaders to align resources and opportunities for the youth we serve.
- SCBA helps to fill the pipeline for local scholarships, internships, and career opportunities by directly connecting youth with these resources.
- Through ongoing collaboration, SCBA enhances the reach and effectiveness of local youth programs, driving greater outcomes for both participants and the broader South Coast community.
